Agusta Westland says US101 helo can be all-U.S. built

Article Abstract:

Agusta Westland executive states that the next Marine One presidential transport helicopter called the US101, which is a joint project by Lockheed Martin Corp. and Agusta Westland can be built entirely in the United States. The aircraft is designed to be manufactured anywhere, but the plans are for 65 percent to built in the United States, while the remaining 35 percent would be components sourced from abroad.

Lockheed Martin/team US101 naming more suppliers

Article Abstract:

Lockheed Martin Corp. reports that the Team US101selected more subcontractors and suppliers for the US101 helicopter, which the company is proposing the Navy to buy as the next generation Marine One presidential transport helicopter. The 24 New England-based companies that would supply some of the components for the US101 helicopter is presented.
