Dodd says EU won't buy U.S. copters, so why buy theirs?

Article Abstract:

Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) has opposed the possible purchase of a helicopter with a European design for transporting the United States President as he feels it is unfair that none of the U.S. helicopter makers were permitted to bid for European Nations (E.U.). He also insisted that if the helicopter makers do not have any business transactions with nations that support terrorism, then it could be permitted to build the presidential helicopter.
