Thinking about moving your lab?

Article Abstract:

The relocation of professional photographic laboratories entails special challenges since these facilities require the appropriate exhaust venting, the proper disposal of hazardous chemicals and the space needed for photographic processing equipment. Lab owners should also plan the relocation months in advance. For instance, Ihor Makara, co-owner of the Infinite Photo & Imaging, said it took him almost 10 months of planning before he relocated his facility.

ABA settles antitrust lawsuit against Barnes & Noble and Borders

Article Abstract:

The American Booksellers Assn (ABA), along with its 26 bookstore plaintiffs, settled its federal antitrust lawsuit against huge chain book retailers Barnes and Noble and Borders for $4.7 million. The lawsuit alleges that the megastores were illegally demanding and receiving big discounts from publishers unavailable to smaller stores, making fair competition impossible for the mon-and-pops. The settlement prohibits the ABA from suing the chains again on the same grounds for three years.
