Article Abstract:

Advanced Systems Technology, Inc.,* Lawton, Okla., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, time and material, indefinite-quantity contract not to exceed $40,000,000. This contract will provide logistics, engineering, contracting and administrative support services for the U. S. Army's Simulation Training and Instrumentation Command. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (70%), and various Army installations across the United States (30%) and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured electronically under a small business set aside with 14 offers received and three contract awards. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-99-D-0003).

Article Abstract:

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., was awarded on March 18, 1999, a $12,430,000 modification (#P00030) to a previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5197 to exercise an option for FY 99-05 Aegis combat system baseline upgrades and critical experiments. The contract covers development and integration of Aegis combat system baseline computer program hardware and software upgrades for Aegis destroyers DDG 91 and following ships. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
