The Boeing Co., Information, Space and Defense Systems, Aircraft and Missile Systems Div., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $7,730,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0037 for the training system technology maturation effort in support of the Joint Strike Fighter engineering and manufacturing development program. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (62%); Seattle, Wash. (30%); and Philadelphia, Pa. (8%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
