New tools transform database marketing

The recent National Center for Database Marketing conference held in Chicago, IL, focused on the innovative applications of new database marketing tools. Several important developments in the field of database marketing were also discussed, including the redefinition of the marketer-customer relationship, the need for time-compressed marketing capabilities, the development of closer ties between marketing and customer-service operations, and the need to develop a new set of skills.
