Hays

Article Abstract:

Hays' attempt to acquire Salvesen did not succeed and the company is likely to turn to smaller acquisitions in mainland Europe. This could include an acquisition in the field of distribution of food for the German retail industry. The company's personnel activities have performed well in 1995 to 1996. Hays is geared to temporary placements and rapidly growing sectors such as information technology, and this should give some protection against business cycles.
