Northrop Grumman at ease over fate of DD(X): Imperiled destroyer at ease over fate of DD(X)

Article Abstract:

Northrop Grumman Corp. is at ease over the prospect that Congress might cancel the Navy's DD(X) destroyer program. The company has discounted the DD(X) significantly in the sales forecast and has made adequate allowances for the possibility that the DD(X) program might be cancelled, so that the company would not be affected regardless of Congress's eventual disposition of the DD(X) program.
