Patria Finance multiplies its profit

Patria Finance (Prague, Czech Republic), investment bank, saw a net profit of CEK 110.61 mil in 2000 compared to CEK 9.01 mil in 1999. The data is audited consolidated results according to international accounting standards. The bank's total consolidated revenues amounted to CEK 486.8 mil in 2000. The average profitability of the bank's owned capital was 27.4% in 2000. Patria Finance is a part of KBC Bank (Belgium).

FAB (Rychnov nad Kneznou, Czech Republic), the largest local lock manufacturer, generated a profit of CEK 91 mil in 2000. The company will use the profit for its development. FAB's 2000 proceeds amounted to CEK 759 mil, up 1% from 1999. The company has a 95% stake held by Assa Abloy (Sweden).
