A survey of independent manufacturers of telecommunications equipment was done by 'Telemarketing' magazine to determine how they are reacting to the demands of a changing market place. More and more suppliers are branching out from traditional means and turning to interconnect companies to market their products.

Cutting Telecommunications Costs with Private Line Service

Private line service can be more cost-effective than the usage- sensitive WATS. The major applications of this service are: foreign exchange service, tie line service, off-premise extension, and data transmission service. A chart compares the current DDD and WATS rates with New York-Atlanta FX circuits.
