Precision Castparts Corp manufactures structural metal castings, commonly used in the aircraft and aerospace sectors. Galveston-Houston Co

Article Abstract:

Galveston-Houston Co makes industrial machineries. Chmn Nathan M. Avery cleared out 20,000 shares from Dec 3 to Dec 11, 1992 at $3.88 per share. A group sale of 1,023,252 ensued last Dec 23, 1992 at $3.63. The group, which included Dir Hamilton Robinson, sold their entire stakes. The reasons behind the sales are unknown but the timing of Avery's and the group's actions calls for caution in the coming months of 1993.

BWIP Holding Inc

Article Abstract:

BWIP Holding Inc provides advanced technology fluid transfer and control equipment, systems and services. The stock failed to break through the $30 level in Jan 1993 before declining to $25.13. Three insiders cleared out 56,000 shares when the price bounced to the $27 level, a definite indication of lack of insider confidence at that level. As of mid-Apr 1993, the stock has already dropped back to the $25 area.
