Statistics show that business publishers are benefitting from strong growth in advertising expenditures. At the recent American Business Press conference, many attendees were visibly excited about the industry's reversal of fortune and the prospects for continued growth. However, some quarters were more cautious, saying that rising paper and postage costs could have an adverse impact on profits.

Bonus lead war of words: are such tips worthless or better than nothing?

Article Abstract:

Publishers of trade publications are at odds over the value of bonus lead advertisements. Supporters of such advertisements believe that it is a value-added service which helps generate additional business for advertisers. Critics, however, question its usefulness and stress that any additional business generated by bonus lead advertisements are only temporary.
