Raytheon unit gains more soviet clean-up work

Raytheon Co. has announced that its subsidiary Raytheon Technical Services Co. received an order from Pentagon's customer Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), to advance the work of deconstructing the weapon stockpile of the former Soviet Union. The Raytheon subsidiary will furnish the DTRA with comprehensive logistics integration report including equipment support and services, program support services, infrastructure services, an enterprise information management system, and program management.

Raytheon leads $2 billion network bid

Article Abstract:

Raytheon Company with the Department of Defense (DOD) has pursued a new contract of $2 billion for a new satellite communication system. The TSAT (Transformational Satellite Communication System) and Mission Operations System (TMOS) gives a secure, interoperable, high capacity global communications network and through the adaptive dynamic resource management, war fighters will be able to access and provide information while maintaining quality of service.

Raytheon touts potential $12 billion savings on MUOS network

Article Abstract:

The Raytheon Company has staked its bid for a multi-billion-dollar defense communication contract on its ability to build successfully upon the largely Raytheon-made system now in place, an approach that would save the Defense Department $12 billion in costs. This cost saving message comes at a time when the company decides to order new-technology system to counter future threats such as rogue states and terrorists.
