Researchers gain insight into possible Pentagon bio-attack

Article Abstract:

The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, in a project called Pentagon Shield, whose mission is to provide law enforcement and security for the Pentagon, has collected data from experiments in which researchers released a marker gas around the Pentagon and monitored its movement through the air. It is hoped that the results will help in understanding how buildings get infiltrated by contaminants, thus providing the Pentagon the means to deal with a possible biological attack.

North Korea tops proliferation threats: Sen. Lugar

Article Abstract:

Sen. Richard Lugar, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee stated that North Korean is expected to be the number one-nonproliferation priority with respect to U.S. nonproliferation efforts. Lugar's nonproliferation credentials include his co-sponsorship, with then-Sen. Sam Nunn, of the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative threat Reduction Program.
