Rewards, recognition spark the sales force to forge loyal clients

Article Abstract:

A company's success in contemporary times depends on numerous factors, not least of which is its ability to motivate its employees to be more productive. Towards this goal, a good incentives program must be in place. This can be achieved by getting the employees' opinions on what a reward constitutes as understanding the workers and the things they face must be a part of the planning process. In any incentive program, communication is a key factor since it is vital that employees should know what values the program conveys.

Loyalty, relationships boost travel

Article Abstract:

Corporate incentive travel programs designed to improve sales performance and efficiency should also promote employee loyalty, teamwork and sense of belonging and enhance industry-community relationships. The Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) acknowledges incentive programs that motivate and inspire employees. Among the recipients of SITE's Signet Award was Gorman's Business Interiors which launched an incentive program geared towards improving customer satisfaction.

Marketers gain Net clout: study

Article Abstract:

A benchmark study by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) revealed that almost 75% of corporate World Wide Web sites are managed by communications or marketing departments. 'Website Management & Internet Advertising Trends' also shows that the average costs of building the sites are $238,000, and annual maintenance costs average $215,000. The study was based on the online activities of 126 ANA members.
