Ross/Abbot Labs debuts personal care center

Ross/Abbot Laboratories has unveiled a new merchandiser unit designed and built by ACS Marketing. The unit features custom chrome posts and chrome accents on the white styrene shelves with an upscale look through its use of custom blue styrene header and base. The display has adjustable shelvings that can be used for several personal hygiene products. The organized apperance and easy accessibility makes it a very effective merchandiser.

Tommy Hilfiger color cosmetics station debuts

Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries will launch the Tommy Hilfiger Color Cosmetics Collection at the upscale Henri Bendel retail chain. The cosmetics will be sold through an innovative display unit, which will have a large monitor that will play music videos and other style-related footage. Terry Darland, VP for Marketing at Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries, said the new cosmetics line will appeal to trendy buyers known to patronize Henri Bendel's.

Avon plans 'store-within-store' program

Article Abstract:

Avon Products announced that it will implement a 'store-within-a-store' strategy at both JC Penney and Sears stores. The retail plan would allow Avon to attract new customers. Andrea Jung, CEO and president of Avon, said the marketing program would also help accelerate top-line growth. Avon products that would be sold in the store-within-a-store program would be different from those sold by its direct sales representatives.
