Chartered accountants (CA) are teaming up with life insurance professionals, in a desire to widen their services and provide long term financial planning to their clients. By cooperating with life insurance agents, accountants can provide the necessary resources and tools for long-term financial planning without obtaining and maintaining an insurance license or spending years learning the complexities of a different industry. Life insurance professionals, on the other hand, also benefit from the team up, given a CA's ability to provide technical input in long-term planning issues.
