The big squeeze

Globalization, competition, cost compliance and the pressure on profit margins has resulted in making the small to medium enterprises (SMEs) cost conscious, increasing their compliance costs and eroding their margins. The increase in the compliance costs has made the SME sector less competitive.

Article Abstract:

The owners of family businesses are content with the wealth generated from the business and not about its size and value. Research conducted by the RMIT University found that 28 per cent of Australian family businesses were reluctant to part with equity.
