UK: AUSTRIAN BREWERS TARGET THE MARKET

Hoping to emulate the success of their German and Czech neighbours, Austrian brewers are planning to target the UK market. The Austrian Trade Commission is hoping to set up presentations with distributors or agents in the new year, which could pave the way for breweries such as Peisting, Fritz Eggfer, Hubertus, and St Georgs to enter the UK beer market. So far, only Brau Union has been consistently available in the UK.
