Wilshaw: more attractive

Article Abstract:

Wilshaw produces magnets and distributes parts for tractors. The company suffered a number of problems in 1995 such as a rise in the cost of raw materials and the loss of Ford of Mexico as a client. The company is improving margins and is rationalizing production in the US to a single site. Price increases have been achieved for tractor parts and there is a strong order book for the company's building products. The company's pre-tax profit is forecast at 5.15 million pounds sterling for 1996 to 1997 by Greig Middleton.
