Jurgen Tiedje, in charge of implementing the EU Directive on Statutory Audit, is aware of the international networks firms' concerns on the liability, regulatory costs and legal issues involved in it. He assures the audit profession that a window of opportunity exists for dialogue with regulators to enable greater regulatory understanding.
