Yes, boss

Article Abstract:

The arrival of a new CEO can be very disconcerting for organizational members because they often have no idea about how to deal with their new leader. The appointment of a new chief executive can be likened to a corporate takeover since both entail cultural change. Some CEOs like to make drastic changes to establish their authority immediately or to prove that their approach is different from that of their predecessors. There are also those who are confrontational while others lead by instilling fear in their subordinates. However, new CEOs may not be totally unfamiliar since outgoing chief executives tend to select successors who have similar characteristics or beliefs. Techniques for dealing with a new CEO are suggested.
