Bringing your ideas to the table

Article Abstract:

The US National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) maintains a firm commitment to acting as a resource for career services and staffing professionals. It will continue to give sound advice on career planning and employment issues, and will welcome input from many different sources. Where is the working class? On your campus

Article Abstract:

College students and job applicants belonging to working-class families demand the most time from guidance counselors. The latter have become biased in evaluating the career goals and salary needs of their clients. Successful placements must consider family and educational background including personal interests. Counselling should not be limited to the type of training received by a client but it should also be geared towards his other options.
