Device performance of light-emitting diode with poly(phenylenesulfidephenylleneamine) as a promotor of hole injection

Article Abstract:

Research was conducted to examine a novel material, poly(phenylenesulfidephenylleneamine)(PPSA) that integrates a low oxidation potential with good film forming characteristics yet restricted solubility. Charge carrier injection into and electroluminescence from single-layer, bilayer and trilayer light-emitting diodes were investigated using cw and pulsed operation. Results indicate that the PPSA efficiently promotes hole injection from a pair of indium tinoxide.

Exponential and power-law kinetics in single-molecule fluorescence intermittency

Article Abstract:

The "on" - "off" behavior of a perylenemonoimide (PMI) model system on time scales ranging from several tens of microseconds in order to clearly identify the underlying photophysical processes is investigated. The "on"-"off" fluorescence intermittency of isolated PMI chromophores on different time scales was studied by time-resolved confocal fluorescence detection.

Model of fluorescence intermittency in single enzyme

Article Abstract:

A one-dimensional model of fluorescence intermittency, based on a model of protein conformational fluctuations, is developed. The model has predicted the short and long time behavior of the time correlation function, of the fluctuations of the signal intensity, and the Mandel parameter, describing the extent of bunching or anti-bunching in the signal.
