Efficiency of solute release from thermoresponsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gels: electromechanical studies

Article Abstract:

The electrochemical method for simultaneous determination of the diffusion coefficient and the concentration of a substance released from the gel due to the gel phase transition described for a series of ferrocene derivatives is examined. It is shown that the approach presented can be employed for the probe systems that are of medical, pharmaceutical, or therapeutic significance.

Voltammetric studies of diffusional and migration transport of ferrocene derivative of tripeptide glutathione

Article Abstract:

The transport of mono and divalent anions of S-ferrocenylmethyl-L-glutathione (FcC[H.sub.2]SG) is investigated voltammetrically at a microelectrode in solutions of low ionic strength. The results obtained for the electroxidation of the monovalent anion of FcC[H.sub.2]SG deviate from the theoretical predictions derived from the charge cancellation electrode processes.

Structural changes of polyacids initiated by their neutralization with various alkali metal hydroxides: diffusion studies in poly(acrylic acid)s

Article Abstract:

The voltammetric studies of the uncharged probe system (Fc[(C[H.sub.2]-OH).sub.2] is presented. The studies demonstrate the internal transport properties of polyacrylate gels containing various monovalent metal cations.
