Formation of zinc inverted opals on indium tin oxide and silicon substrates by electrochemical deposition

Article Abstract:

Zinc inverted opals are fabricated by means of electrochemical deposition templated on polystyrene artificial opals grown on indium tin oxide and n-doped substrates. Several differences in the infiltration are observed between samples infilled by linear cyclic voltammetry and square wave pulsating potential approaches, leading to the fabrication of metallic photonic crystals with different topologies on semiconducting substrates.

Electrochemical characterization of self-assembled alkylsiloxane monolayers on indium-tin oxide (ITO) semiconductor electrodes

Article Abstract:

The effect of indium-tin oxide (ITO) semiconductor electrodes in aqueous electrolytes due to electrochemical characterization of self-assembled alkylsiloxane monolayers was studied. The monolayers of octyltrimethoxysilane ( OTMS) and octadecyltrimethoxysilane (ODTMS) on ITO electrodes behave as diffusion barriers against the access of ions in electrolytes.

Photoelectrochemical behavior of oxalate at an indium tin oxide electrode

Article Abstract:

The photoelectrochemical characteristics of oxalate in 0.20 M NaS2O4 at an indium tin oxide electrode are investigated. Significant photocurrents are observed upon illumination in both the UV and visible regions with the highest photocurrent at 290 nm.
