Investigation of the structural and electrochemical properties of size-controlled SnO2 Nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to investigate the effect of particle size on the structural and electrochemical properties of SnO2 nanoparticles. The near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) analysis revealed that the samples of these nanoparticles had a tetragonal rutile structure, and showed no noticeable change in the oxidation state of tin ions with decreased particle size.

New biphenyl derivative with planar phenyl-phenyl conformation in crystal at room temperature exhibits highly efficient UV light-emitting

Article Abstract:

The design and syntheses of biphenyl derivative, comprising of alternating rotation-limited (theta1) and rotation-permitted (theta2) phenylene-phenylene bonds in structure are presented. The crystal structure and luminescence properties of these derivatives are discussed.

Changes in microemulsion and protein structure in IgG-AOT-Brine-Isooctane systems

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to investigate the changes in structure of protein molecules and water-in-oil microemulsion aggregates. The result confirms significant effects of protein conformation and microemulsion structure on protein stability in the microemulsion.
