Lonza unrolls Bioscience strategy

Lonza unveiled its business strategy for its new Bioscience division. The company projected making several investments for the said division which will be comprised of four business units: Rapid Testing Systems, Cell Therapy, Media and Cell Discovery, and Molecular Biology. Company forecasts and sales are also discussed.

Aptuit adds on Evotec CPD

Article Abstract:

Aptuit is acquiring Germany-based Evotec's UK-based Chemical & Pharmaceutical Development (CPD) business . The deal, which is worth around 46.4 mil lion euros, will close by the end of November 2008 and it involves the transfer of e mployees and facilities worldwide. The scope of the deal is discussed.
