POLAND: PRINTING INKS BY WFFG, COATES LORILLEUX

Article Abstract:

The Polish Warsaw-based company Warszawska Fabryka Farb Graficznych (WFFG) and Coates Lorilleux of France, with which it has been cooperating since 1997, are to set up a joint production plant in Poland in 1999. WFFG, which exports some of its output to Ukraine, sold products worth Zl 20mn in 1998. The other two producers Atra of Torun and Gdanska Fabryka Farb Graficznych (GFFG) of Gdansk had sales of Zl 5mn and Zl 4.2mn, respectively. Most of Poland's printing ink demand is covered by imports.

Article Abstract:

Lubrizol Coating Additives GmbH has brought on stream in Ritterhude a new production plant for waste pastes for its sister company Carroll Scientific Inc. of Illinois, US. The production plant replaces imports from the US.
