Preparation of Sr(sub 2)CeO(sub 4):Eu(super 3+),Dy(super 3+) white luminescence phosphor particles and thin films by using an emulsion membrane system

Article Abstract:

The phosphor particles such as Sr(sub 2)CeO(sub 4) and Sr(sub 2)CeO(sub 4):Eu(super 3+),Dy(super 3+) and thin films were prepared by using an emulsion liquid membrane system, containing VA-10 (2-methyl-2-ethylheptanoic acid) as extractant. Blue and white luminescence phosphor thin films were prepared by soaking alumina substrates into the W/O emulsion containing precursor oxalate particles, followed by calcination in air.

Reactivity of 1-propanol on p(n x 2) reconstructed WO(sub 30(100) thin films

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to examine the reactivity of active site on reduced WO(sub 3)(100) thin film surfaces with the help of temperature programmed desorption, Auger electron spectroscopy. High-resolution images reveal that the positions of the alkoxides ion the strands are consistent with an added row model.

Bidimensional X-ray diffraction analysis for structural and microstructural characterization of lanthanum manganite thin films

Article Abstract:

The structural and microstructural properties of sodium-doped lanthanum manganite thin films, both as deposited and annealed samples are investigated using X-ray bidimensional microdiffraction. The result shows that there are two distinct preferred orientations present in the film.
