Raman scattering investigation of the glaciation process in triphenyl phosphite

Article Abstract:

The study focuses on the analysis of the low-frequency Raman spectrum to get significant data about the structural transformation associated with the glaciation process. The study reveals that the crystallization aborts in a distinctive stage in a glacial state composed of crystallites of the stable crystalline state, characterized by a size strongly dependent on the aging temperature.

Raman scattering investigations of the stable and metastable phases of cyanoadamantane glassy crystal

Article Abstract:

Raman investigations on stable and metastable phases of cyanoadamantane plastic crystal, which gives an orientational glassy state upon a deep undercooling below 175 K is reported. The Raman data confirm the existence of an antiferroelectric SRO in the R-phase at room temperature through the asymmetric shape of the bending band.

Metastable solid phase at the crystalline-amorphous border: the glacial phase of triphenyl phosphite

Article Abstract:

The structure and thermodynamics of the glacial phase and the metastable solid-phase at the crystalline amorphous border of triphenyl phosphate is studied. The results show that the crystal is denser than the glacial phase.
