Reactions and thermochemistry of small transition metal cluster ions

Article Abstract:

This review focuses on transition metal cluster reactivity and thermochemical reactions with reference to neutral transition metals and ionic metal and semimetal clusters by guided-ion-beam mass spectrometry. Data on transition metal clusters with D(sub)2 and the oxygen donors, and carbon dioxide and bond energies between them are discussed.

On the nature of ions at the liquid water surface

Article Abstract:

The nature of the interfacial structure of electrolyte solution is explored and a detailed description is given on the emerging revised picture. The emerging picture of the surface structure of electrolytic solution refines, rather than contradicts, the existing textbook descriptions, which is consistent with both theory and experiments.

Effects of surface chemical treatments on tribological properties (friction, adhesion and wear) of micro-electro mechanical (MEMS) is reviewed. Various MEMS micro instruments employed for surface chemical treatments are also discussed.
