Color Printers Emerging as a Promising Market

Article Abstract:

There is a growing demand for color printers. These printers use the impact dot-matrix, ink-jet or thermal print method. The dot matrix printer offers one of the best choices for a color printer. It provides a clear image, low price, low operating cost, copying capability, low down time and easy maintenance. The CP-1018 is a color printer that uses the dot-matrix method. This system uses platens that contain different color inks. It prints at one hundred and eighty characters a second and reproduces up to three copies plus the original. The system provides self-print, bold, emphasized, superscript and subscript print. It is compatible with the IBM PC. A diagram and specification table for the Janome CP-1018 printer are included.
