Copier delivers digital benefits standing alone, in network

Article Abstract:

Toshiba Corp.'s DP2460 digital copier can operate as a standalone device or it can be adapted for utilization in a network setting. The device, capable of producing 600dpi copies at 24cpm, features such advantages as memory copying that permit such functions as Magazine Sort, and electronic sorting, a feature that makes sorting bins obsolete. Under a network environment, which is done with the addition of the SC-1 controller that will be available soon, the copier can also be operated as a fax machine.
