Article Abstract:

The computer industry must show that it is not discriminating against older employees by setting up in-house retraining programs so that their employees can adapt to the changing environment. However, the age issue must not be used against the H-1B visa program as the US' technological strength lies in the fact that a large number of highly talented individuals come to the country via the program. Older workers must be willing to adopt new skills if they are going to adjust to a fast-changing industry.
