How To Cultivate Your Management Style

Article Abstract:

It is often difficult to identify the qualities of a good manager. The leading management style in the United States places importance on getting and analyzing data. Each manager must examine his or her weaknesses and strengths. Teams should be put together based on differences, not similarities. Most leaders have a tendancy to exhibit one of the four styles: intuition, thinking, feeling and sensing. Charts examine the differences between these four styles.

Some major vendors have established federal government divisions. An automated bid program is now in the testing stage.

Tallgrass Promotes Tape Format-Proposes Industry Standard

Article Abstract:

Tallgrass Technologies and Data Magnetics have signed an agreement to standardize cartridge tape format. The format features increased capacity and flexibility over the QIC-24 standard. The low-cost format is named PC-T-11 and is geared for personal computers.
