Industrial Devolution

Article Abstract:

In the industrial engineering area, a new method to improve productivity has been used. The involvement of employees in day to day decision making and overall plans and objectives has improved employee job performance. Production committees are being established to improve business plans and performance. Establishment of autonomous companies can create larger profits from marginal activities. This involves proper education and establishment of systems at departmental levels. Delegation of duties from managers must go hand in hand with these changes. Unions must conform with these new values as well.
