Silknet Software Inc's eService 98 is a customer support tool that could lead to the next generation of customer service solutions designed for the Web. The self-help customer support application provides a call-tracking feature and offers integration features aimed at making it easier for vendors to combine telephone support with new options for Web-based services. One of the users of the new technology is Pacific Bell Internet Services.
