Article Abstract:

Despite recent gains, rental dollars still beat sales dollars almost seven to one. The results of a survey by Leisure Time Electronics of almost seven hundred fifty members of the Video Software Dealers Assoication are analyzed. A rising membership in video clubs is helping bring prices down. The growing popularity of Beta is boosting sales. Growing public awareness and falling prices are also boosting sales. A number of graphs showing the research findings are given.
