Service Quality Control System Pays for Itself

Article Abstract:

Santa Barbara Applied Research's quality control team helps clients perform technical reviews of their operations. A quality control team is organized to guide development of a comprehensive data analysis system. The system not only is a quality assurance of a data system, but refines and monitors every checkpoint of the system. Other personnel are also trained in an effort to support this system as an ongoing effort after Santa Barbara Applied Research leaves the project.

BACS Pays the Way

Bankers' Automatd Clearing Services (BACS) handles over twelve million money transfers in a week. This is a ten-fold increase since automatic banking was introduced to England. Because of the growth of the industry, the current facilities will have to be expanded to handle the anticipated growth. InterCar is an electric train that is used to carry materials to the sorting area. Such systems for moving materials help increase the productivity at BACS.
