Six Challenges For General Managers

Article Abstract:

There are many challenges facing managers in modern business. Such diverse factors as presidential elections, technology, and population statistics make establishing goals and strategies extremely difficult. The allocation of resources, especially over the long run poses problems, and a good manager must always know what is going on in his-her organization, no matter how vast. Managers must gain the support of their superiors in order to function effectively as well as have the cooperation of other organizations over which they have no control. Additionally, managers must also deal effectively with subordinates.
