The Limited expands its relationship with NCR

Article Abstract:

The Limited Inc has chosen NCR Corp to provide support to its point-of- sale (POS) systems and back office hardware at all of its retail stores. The Limited Inc owns 650 Limited stores, 540 Structure stores and 875 Bath & Body Works across the US. The company also announced that it will choose an NCR platform for its next generation POS system for use in its 12 retail divisions. The deal requires an NCR representative to be onsite within two hours after a system malfunction has occurred and to fix the problem within four hours.

Buffets Inc. savors specialist for printer maintenance needs

Article Abstract:

Restaurant chain operator Buffets Inc will sign laser printer maintenance specialist LaseQuipT of Minneapolis, MN, to its second straight one-year contract. Buffets, which runs 350 Old Country and HomeTown Buffet restaurants in 35 states, said that LaserQuipt's provides high-level services on all the lines of printers it operates. LaserQuipT also delivers low response times and prices due to its narrow focus.

Textron adds to vendor mix

Article Abstract:

TExtron Inc's Information Management Council has inked a multi-year agreement with Computer Assoc of Islandia, NY, to provide usage rights for its mainframe products and licenses for its Unicenter TMG enterprise management software. The recommendations of three businesses under Textron's umbrella who are already using Unicenter have influenced the decision to choose Computer Assoc.
