To migrate or not to migrate

Article Abstract:

The integration of legacy software and training data into computer managed instruction (CMI) system presents formidable problems to training managers. These problems include CMI migrator features, the questionable value of investing resources to upgrade aging programs and the emerging Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) standards for computer-based training. AICC standards cover more than 150 fields explaining ways to track data and permit interoperability of courseware.
