The Allen Report on the largest community owners
Article Abstract:
The results of GFA Management Pres George Allen's survey of owners and managers of multiple manufactured housing rental community portfolios are presented. The respondents totalled 126, with 101 of these possessing impressive company profiles. Portfolio sizes ranges from one to eighty housing communities and the companies are scattered across 35 states. The respondents represent only a third of the manufactured housing community owners and mangers who own more than one community.

The 1995 Allen report on the largest community owners
Article Abstract:
A 1994 annual survey of 175 owners and fee-managers of manufactured home communities operating in the US and Canada is presented. It is estimated that 150 of these firms operate 4.5% of the almost 50,000 land-lease communities in North America. Among these companies, Manufactured Home Communities Inc. is the largest owner with 788 communities containing 28, 407 home sites. On the other hand, ROC Communities has the most properties in 31 states in the US.
