Century Direct unveils 2nd film show

Article Abstract:

Santa Monica, CA-based Century Direct Inc has finished an infomercial for Warner Bros Hos Video that will be tested over national cable in Apr 2000. The show will feature classic musicals that include 'Gigi' and 'Singin' in the Rain.' Four tapes, with a four-part multi-play of $19.95 each, will be highlighted in the infomercial. A site will be launched for the infomercial which exclusively caters to buyers of the products featured in the infomercial.

AMNTV takes Webcasters into DRTV

Article Abstract:

Per-inquiry direct response television (DRTV) firm AMNTV has announced the launching of commercials that are specifically intended for the Internet. The commercials were originally filmed as short-form DRTV ads. They enable viewers to click through and receive information or order products from the Web. According to AMNTV CEO Joseph Gray, the click-through is a natural progression for the phone number in the call to action in the ads.
