Cost model

Article Abstract:

Five-star bedrooms accounted for only 5755 of the UK hotel industry's 239,000 rooms in 1995, according to the Hotel and Catering Research Centre at the University of Huddersfield. A cost model for the development of a four or five-star hotel in central London is detailed, including objectives, development standards, interior design, and feasability appraisal. The cost of a similar hotel in the Middle and Far East is also included.
