Customer concerns: tools of the trade

Article Abstract:

Residential real estate agents can significantly improve their selling skills by using the prospective buyer's own reasons for rejecting a purchase as the building block for highlighting the qualities of the recommended home. For instance, the fact that a home has a higher price tag may be used to uncover its many superior features to a lower-priced home. Another effective sales technique is to indirectly deny the buyers' inaccurate assessments of a home's features. This allows the agent to avoid direct confrontation while slowly enlightening the prospect with additional facts.
