DMers pleased with revised H.R. 22

Article Abstract:

Rep John McHugh, chairman of the House postal service subcommittee, is proposing a bill that calls for the revision of H.R. 22 or the Postal Modernization Act. Direct mailers have already expressed their support for the bill, which will give the US Postal Service more freedom to manage its operations and establish rules. Several provisions in H.R. 22 were deleted from the bill to give it a better chance of passing.
