Dancing partners

Article Abstract:

There were many challenges associated with expanding and refurbishing the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, England. The two existing buildings on the site were officially listed, and further problems arose from the fact that they were very different from each other. It was also necessary to add 1,640 sq mt to the small suburban site. Local architect Allen Tod responded to the challenge by creating arms around and between the two buildings.
