Datamarine International faces another cash crunch

Article Abstract:

Datamarine International saw its net sales drop by 46% to $1.1 million from $2 million for the quarter ending Dec 30, 2001. Its net loss also increased to $991,618 from $636,899 during the same quarter in 1999. The struggling electronics manufacturer disclosed on its SEC filing that its ability to remain an operating business depends on its ability to raise additional cash and register a profit. The company's recent losses stem from reduced revenues from its land mobile communications business.
